Ultrasound Technician

An Ultrasound Technician needed in Bisbee, AZ

We are working with a non-profit hospital in the state of Arizona. They are a community-based hospital that focuses on maintaining and supporting access to basic primary healthcare throughout southern Cochise County by excelling in leadership, vision and service delivery to address opportunities and challenges to healthcare.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary
• Based on experience ($40/hr.) - ($48/hr.)
• $15,000 Sign On Bonus
• $15,000 Relocation Assistance
• $1,000 Stipend for 2 years
• Health Insurance (100% is paid by employer, no out of pocket costs)

Responsibilities

• Monday – Friday (Day Shift)
• No On-Call Responsibilities
• Performs all ultrasound techniques and examinations, abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, obstetric and gynecological scans, localization for treatment, planning and minor surgical procedures.
• Assists physicians in such procedures as needle biopsies and amniocentesis, etc. Scans patient, marks patient’s body, assists as necessary.

• Performs both vascular and general diagnostic ultrasound procedures on adult, geriatric, pediatric and adolescent patients

Requirements

• Completion of a training program in sonography from an approved school.
• Registration with American Registry of diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• Minimum of two years’ experience with abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular and echocardiogram preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Clear/Active Arizona License-Or Willingness To Obtain
