Job Description

An administrative supervisor in a dental office, also known as a dental office manager, is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office. This includes managing staff, patients, and finances, as well as ensuring compliance with regulations.  Seeking a highly motivated and driven individual with at least 3-5 years of dental experience to oversee the daily office functions. 
Responsibilities

• Patient management : Oversee patient relations, handle complaints, and help explain office policies 
• Staff management : Recruit, interview, hire, and train staff, and manage their schedules and performance 
• Financial management : Manage patient financial accounts, budgeting, and financial reporting 
• Regulatory compliance : Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and federal regulations 
• Marketing : Manage marketing and communications efforts 
• Scheduling : Schedule appointments and ensure efficient use of staff time 
• Insurance : Verify insurance, help with insurance claims, and collect payment 
• Office systems : Manage and update office computer systems 

Skills 

• Strong organizational skills, including time management, prioritization, and attention to detail
• Knowledge of dental office contingency plans
• Awareness of trends, legislation, and regulations in the dental profession

Education 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Training or education in business, business administration, bookkeeping, or secretarial skills
• Relevant education, such as an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field
