M&D has led the aftermarket in remanufacturing innovation to address technological advancements and changing customer needs. M&D also stocks a complete assortment of turbos (new and remanufactured), inframe overhaul kits, filtration and aftertreatment parts including DPFs, DOCs, EGRs, sensors and other engine parts.

Position Summary The
Welder is responsible for performing a variety of welding tasks to support our production and fabrication processes. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills. This is a great opportunity for an individual eager to expand their existing skills, gain new ones, and grow with a company that values quality craftsmanship and a strong work ethic. All necessary training will be provided on site.
Essential Tasks And Responsibilities - Set up and operate welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and orderly condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and always wear appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines.
- Able to adapt to different issues and needs
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): - High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to repeat motions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Innovative approach to problem solving
- Basic math and computer skills
- Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening
- Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment
