Underwriting Assistant to join our Berkley Accident and Health team! You will provide assistance to our underwriting team by tracking and set-up of underwriting folders and reviewing account information. We will train! Key functions include but are not limited to: - Set up folders in our shared drive for all information received for new underwriting submissions
- Run census in Excel spreadsheet for each submission
- Log submissions into our underwriting system including benefits, reinsurance terms, and census information
- Communicate between Sales Reps and Underwriters to ensure all information is complete and accurate
Qualifications: - High School, Associates or Bachelor's Degree
- Recent college grads welcome to apply; or 1-2 years general office experience
- Must be highly organized, with strong attention to detail
- Must have Word/Excel experience
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Team oriented
