Your Role: Empowering Teams and Driving Customer Success
As a Technical Support Supervisor, you'll be at the forefront of providing world-class technical support for our climate solutions products. You'll lead a team of support professionals, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to excel. You'll also play a hands-on role in providing direct support, collaborating with sales teams, and developing resources to empower our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Oversee the technical support team, providing daily management, competency building, and mentorship.
Customer Interaction: Support the team in utilizing communication tools (Salesforce, etc.) for effective customer interaction.
Direct Support: Participate in a technical support call center as part of your workload.
Sales Alignment: Collaborate with sales teams to ensure technical support aligns with market needs.
Knowledge Sharing: Conduct internal and external presentations to enhance product and application knowledge.
Resource Development: Develop and maintain technical tools (documents, videos, etc.) to support customers.
Emergency Support Coordination: Coordinate scheduling of after-hours emergency support.
What We're Looking For:
Engineering Expertise: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or Engineering Technology, preferably with a focus on Mechanical, Refrigeration, or HVAC.
Strong Communication: Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Market Acumen: Ability to help advance market share in a competitive environment.
Balanced Leadership: Ability to manage direct workload while supervising a team.
Proactive Approach: Entrepreneurial spirit, strong initiative, and ability to drive process improvements.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel regionally and internationally (5-15% travel).
On-Call Availability: Potential for periodic after-hours emergency phone support.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with MS Office.
