About The Role

Peraton is seeking a Web Developer to join the team in support of a development environment to help drive system innovation for related services and designing web-based applications with a focus on performance , usability, and security.

Responsibilities :

  • Prioritizes and allocates projects, products, and resources with the assistance of architects and managers. 
  • Participates in the strategic decisions about technology, definition, and implementation of the software products. 
  • Directs software development projects to include, ensuring that projects are completed on time and according to quality standards, facilitating communication upward and across project team including project status, justifications for variances and technical information. 
  • Monitors technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities.
  • Develops custom programs for web sites that will attract and appeal to users and provide desired information. 
  • Creates web applications and components from the requirements stage, through design, through production deployment. 
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of programming and server software operations. Develops new web applications through packaged and customized applications. Creates web front-end user interface to ne w or existing databases using a combination of HTML, CSS, JavaScript , or other languages to make business applications accessible. 
  • Designs and implements user-driven templates, databases, and interfaces for ease of use. 
  • May create enterprise -wide Intranet. 
  • Develops database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing. 
  • Develops external web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurat e information. 
  • Experienced in graphics, layout, scripting, programming, as well as development involving compatibility and seamless integration with various technologies such as Java and ColdFusion.

Skills :

  • Strong customer service and communications skills, both oral and written
  • Strong critical thinking skills that facilitate expedient problem solving
  • Expert in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
  • Proficient in backend development using Active Server Pages (ASP.NET), C#, Java, Node.js, or Django
  • Experience with database design, schema development, and backend logic
  • Skilled in developing responsive, accessible, and scalable web applications
  • Familiar with Sitecore Content Management System (CMS) and web development best practices for secure DoD environments
  • Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and solve complex issues efficiently
  • Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring development teams and collaborating with stakeholders
  • Should have experience with agile development methodologies and be able to lead project planning, estimation, and tracking efforts

*This position is contingent on Peraton receiving an award.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD, 12 years w/HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in the use and deployment of mobile applications
  • Current active IAT II certification with related w e b development Computing
  • Environment (CE) certification(s) to comply with DoD 8570 and DoD 8140.03 requirements
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust
  • Must be a US Citizen

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
