Job Description

Description

Reserv is an incubating cutting-edge AI and automation technology focused on bringing efficiency and simplicity to insurance claims by redefining claims adjusting. Founded by insurtech veterans with deep experience in SaaS and digital claims – and venture-backed by Bain Capital and Altai Ventures – Reserv began operations in May 2022 and has rapidly expanded.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Recruiting Manager to lead talent acquisition efforts within our high-growth insurance organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies that attract top-tier talent across claims, tech, customer service, and corporate support functions. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of the insurance industry and a strong track record of building high-performing teams.

Who you are

Influential: You have the ability to inspire and motivate others—whether it's stakeholders, team members, or candidates. Your influence drives alignment, trust, and action.

Innovative & Curious: You're always exploring ways to improve processes, increase efficiency, enhance the candidate experience, and attract top talent. We value and welcome your creative ideas.

Growth-Oriented Leadership: You bring proven strategies for upskilling recruiters and creating meaningful opportunities for professional development, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Accountable: You clearly define expectations, take full ownership of your actions and your team's outcomes, and work with integrity. You hold yourself and others responsible for delivering results.

Collaborative: You thrive in a team-first environment. You value partnership, support your peers, and believe that when one of us succeeds, we all succeed.

Organized: You simplify complex problems and communicate clearly with stakeholders to ensure objectives are understood and achieved.

Flexible: You're agile and adaptable, ready to pivot quickly in response to change and challenge without losing momentum.

Communicative: You're a proactive communicator who shares the right information before being asked, ensuring clarity, alignment, and trust.

Data-Driven: You set clear goals and identify the right metrics to track success. You use data to inform decisions, measure performance, and drive continuous improvement.

What we need

Lead and Manage the Recruiting Team: Oversee a team of recruiters responsible for sourcing and hiring talent across all functions of the business.

Partner with Business Leaders: Collaborate closely with leaders across departments to understand hiring needs, develop tailored strategies, and address hard-to-fill roles.

Build and Maintain Talent Pipelines: Proactively source and nurture a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet current and future hiring demands.

Drive Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, candidate selection, and offer management.

Optimize Recruiting Processes: Evaluate, implement, and refine recruiting workflows to increase efficiency and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience.

Leverage Data and Analytics: Use recruiting metrics to track performance, uncover trends, and continuously improve hiring strategies.

Ensure Compliance: Maintain full compliance with insurance industry standards, employment laws, and internal company policies throughout all recruitment efforts.

Employer Brand Strategy: Design and execute strategies to elevate and promote the company's employer brand in the market.

ATS Transition and Optimization: Lead the transition to a new applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring it's configured to support efficient processes and accurate data management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; insurance-related education or certification is a plus (e.g., CPCU, AINS).
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, including 2+ years in a management or lead role.
  • Experience recruiting within the insurance industry (e.g., P&C, life, health, reinsurance, brokers, carriers).
  • Strong understanding of insurance-related job functions and regulatory hiring requirements.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Rippling and Greenhouse).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience recruiting for licensed adjusters and compliance-sensitive positions.
  • Familiarity with remote workforce hiring strategies in the insurance sector.
  • Knowledge of insurance labor market trends and talent sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, niche job boards).

Benefits

  • Generous health-insurance package with nationwide coverage, vision, & dental
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching
  • Competitive PTO policy – we want our employees fresh, healthy, happy, and energized!
  • Generous family leave policy
  • Work from anywhere to facilitate your work-life balance paired with frequent, regular corporate retreats to build team cohesion, reinforce culture, and have fun
  • You may want an Apple laptop, large second monitor, and other quality-of-life equipment. Technology is something that should make your life easier, not harder!

At Reserv, we value diversity and believe that a variety of perspectives leads to innovation and success. We are actively seeking candidates who will bring unique perspectives and experiences to our team and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If you believe you are a good fit for this role, we would love to hear from you!
