Job Description

Eminence Home Care is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for our afternoon shifts to join our outstanding team!

As a  Personal Care Assistant , you will provide vital support and care to clients in their homes, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Your role will be essential in helping our clients maintain their dignity and independence while receiving the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Help with mobility and transferring assistance.
• Offer companionship and provide emotional support.
• Assist in meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Conduct light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning.

Shifts available: Afternoon shifts, including weekends

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.

• Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow care plans.

• Dependable with strong attendance record.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Must provide proof of immunizations and a recent negative TB test.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and compassion.
