Parking Controls Assistant

Location: Downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia

Start Date: May 2025

Summary

CityParking Inc. is growing their team in Fredericksburg, VA. This position requires excellent independent decision-making, strong customer service background, and ability to troubleshoot technical aspects of the parking management system. A background in parking is not necessary, but we do work best with individuals who love to learn and embrace challenges.

Tasks

• Instruct customers on how to use the parking access controls system, including use of validations, payment methods, and monthly subscriber access options.
• Assist customers with directions and be knowledgeable about nearby attractions and businesses.
• Perform inspections of the facility to ensure it meets all safety and cleanliness requirements.
  
• Be vigilant in identifying safety issues during patrols and addressing concerns in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate responsibility for company property issued for the purpose of enforcement and maintenance.
• Provide detailed reports as assigned by managers and actively participate in company communication boards.

Job Requirements

• Ability to use a smartphone & basic tools.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
