Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft M365 Administrator to join our Digital Solutions team. This role will be an onsite position in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The M365 Administrator is critical to ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our client’s Microsoft 365 environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing M365 solutions, with proven experience in SharePoint development and maintenance, user support, and IT security. The ability to work in a highly regulated environment requiring a Q clearance is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer & Maintain Microsoft 365: Manage and configure M365 applications such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and related services.
Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues: Diagnose and resolve technical issues across the M365 ecosystem to ensure seamless end-user experiences.
Implement Security Measures: Apply and monitor security measures to safeguard data and maintain compliance with organizational and federal regulations.
System Integration: Collaborate with IT team to integrate M365 with other enterprise systems and applications.
User Support & Training: Provide technical support, guidance, and training to end users to maximize productivity and adoption of M365 tools.
Policy Development & Governance: Contribute to the creation and enforcement of IT policies, procedures, and governance models for Microsoft 365 usage.
Migration & Deployment Projects: Participate in and lead M365 migration and deployment initiatives to support organizational modernization efforts.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Administration including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and security/compliance center configurations.
Expertise in SharePoint:
SharePoint Online Development – ability to design, customize, and deploy SharePoint solutions.
SharePoint Application & Maintenance – experience maintaining and optimizing SharePoint environments.
Experience with Microsoft 365 security measures such as MFA, conditional access, and data loss prevention policies.
Demonstrated background in IT environments leveraging Microsoft technologies, with experience in migrations and system integrations.
Prior experience in user training, support, and development of IT policies.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and collaborative work ethic.
Excellent communication skills for interaction with technical teams and end users.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Security Administrator, or SharePoint certifications) preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.
Working Conditions: This position is primarily performed in an office environment or a home office setting. Employees will be required to use a computer and other office equipment for extended periods.
