Manager - Maintenance/Building Services

 

Marshfield Medical Center – Dickinson is a fully integrated medical campus that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient health care to residents in upper Michigan and northeast Wisconsin.

 

This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

 

The Manager - Maintenance (MI) directs the overall operation of maintenance and safety/security departments assuring compliance with all hospital, local, state, and federal regulatory standards. Interacts professionally and collaborates with system management team to create positive and effective working relationships where safe quality health care can be delivered.

 

Requires:

• Three years of experience in maintenance including some supervisory experience preferably in a medical facility


• Demonstrated knowledge of building maintenance including plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical, painting, carpentry, grounds maintenance, and the operation of mechanical equipment

 

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited school in engineering


• Experience with Building Automated Control Systems, DDC Systems to include HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and/or electronics. Knowledge in regulatory authorities such as OSHA, SACHO, DHS, HCFA, ADA, WI Department Commercial Building Codes. Demonstrated experience Word, Excel, and Access.


• Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification awarded by the American Hospital Association
