Summary

Loving Touch Daycare in Marietta, GA is seeking an experienced Infant Teacher with a strong understanding of Quality Rated standards and Bright from the Start guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of excellence in an infant classroom, be able to follow and implement schedules, and create engaging lesson plans without additional training.

Duties

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for infants in a safe, developmentally appropriate environment
• Implement daily schedules, routines, and lesson plans
• Maintain compliance with Quality Rated and Bright from the Start standards
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff through Brightwheel
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the classroom
• Support infants’ developmental milestones through planned activities

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience working in a licensed childcare center infant classroom
• Knowledge of Quality Rated and Bright from the Start guidelines
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Completion of at least 18 hours of annual training as required
• Ability to create and follow lesson plans independently
• Strong communication and organization al skills
• Professional, reliable, and passionate about early childhood education

Nice To Haves

• CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or higher in Early Childhood Education
• Additional infant/toddler care training beyond the 18 required hours
• Experience with Brightwheel for daily communication and record-keeping
• Familiarity with Georgia Quality Rated assessment process
• Bilingual in English/Spanish (or other languages)
• Ability to implement creative, sensory, and music activities for infants
