HVAC Technician - No Travel Required

Grow your career with a leader! Our client is hiring an HVAC Technician for first shift!

Responsibilities of the HVAC Technician

• Inspect and maintain air conditioning and HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in the HVAC systems
• Replace and calibrate HVAC equipment including thermostatic controls and liquid lines
• Maintain the in-house refrigeration equipment such as refrigeration and ice machines
• Maintain the plumbing for the HVAC systems for the chilled and hot water supply systems
• Use your basic carpentry skills to install metal ductwork
• Handle basic welding responsibilities such as for sheet metal or plate steel HVAC enclosure repair
• Comply with EPA regulations as required
• Handle electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
• Facilitate the handling of OSHA machine guarding on presses, etc.
• Maintain spare parts as needed for emergency requests

Requirements of the HVAC Technician

• High School graduate
• 1 or more years of full-time experience in HVAC and more experience is strongly preferred
• Be well-rounded with HVAC repair, basic welding, basic carpentry, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
• This is a first shift position M-F.

Compensation for the HVAC Technician

The annual starting salary for this position will be $34.00 per hour to $41.00 per hour
