Job Title: Entry-Level Project Manager / Estimator

Location: Elk River, MN

Salary Range: $65,000 $85,000 (based on experience)

Industry: Heavy Civil Construction

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

Were seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Project Manager / Estimator to join a growing team in the heavy civil construction industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to build a career in construction project management and estimating. Youll gain hands-on experience working closely with senior project managers, field teams, and clients on a variety of civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing project cost estimates, bids, and proposals
• Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
• Perform quantity take-offs and gather pricing from suppliers/subcontractors
• Help manage budgets, track project progress, and report on performance
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when needed
• Communicate with clients, engineers, and field staff
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and organized

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Internship or prior experience in construction is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with estimating software is a plus
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
