AVI Aviation, an FCAH Aerospace brand located in Miami, FL, is seeking an Engineering Intern to support our engineering and configuration management teams. In this role, you’ll assist with key technical documentation, revision control, and drawing updates—while working directly with experienced aerospace engineers on active projects.

  • Participating in team meetings and helping ensure engineering records are current and consistent.
  • Adhering to safety protocols, quality standards, and internal documentation policies.

What We Are Looking For…

You will need to have:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and documentation management tools (e.g., Windchill or similar).
  • Understanding of engineering mechanics, materials, and technical documentation standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization, especially in managing engineering change processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

What You Will Gain…

  • Real-world experience with engineering change control processes and aerospace documentation.
  • Collaboration with industry professionals on projects that directly support aircraft systems.
  • Development of technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills essential for your career.
  • Deeper insight into how cross-functional engineering teams operate within the aviation industry.
  • A meaningful internship experience that supports your transition into a full-time engineering role.
