Hudson Global Scholars is an online education services provider to private schools and families. We partner with schools to go online safely and efficiently. We enable schools to use their own resources and staff, backed by HGS expertise, faculty, curriculum, and technology. We present a flexible program that meets the changing needs of schools now and in the future. HGS operates a variety of accredited online schools that provide partners and families with compatible education, affiliation, and articulation.

Hudson Global Scholars is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Talent. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of talent acquisition, human resources management, and training & development initiatives within the organization. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in recruiting top talent, implementing effective HR strategies, and creating impactful training programs to enhance employee skills and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition:

    • Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract, assess, and hire top-tier talent across various departments.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create targeted s.
    • Lead and mentor a team of recruiters to ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment process.
    • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, universities, and industry professionals to expand the talent pool.
  • Human Resources Management:

    • Oversee all aspects of HR management, including employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
    • Implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
    • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Training and Development:

    • Design and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and professional development.
    • Identify training needs through performance evaluations and consultations with department heads.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make necessary improvements to meet organizational objectives.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to incorporate relevant training methods and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in talent acquisition, HR management, and training & development, with a focus on leadership roles.
  • Education industry experience preferred.
  • Paycom HRIS and Greenhouse ATS experience highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing effective recruitment, HR, and training strategies.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align talent initiatives with organizational goals.
