Position Summary We are seeking a strategic, creative, and mission-aligned Manager of Digital Marketing to oversee and grow Real Life Catholic's presence across digital platforms, ensuring our message reaches new audiences while deepening engagement with existing followers. The ideal candidate is a motivated, analytics-driven, social media expert and content creator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for evangelization. This role blends strategy and hands-on execution, covering social media, email marketing, paid ads, web content, online fundraising, and more. Key Responsibilities Digital Marketing Execute RLC's digital marketing strategy to grow reach, engagement, and conversions. Collaborate with the VP of Marketing to create and execute marketing campaigns aligned with RLC's strategic goals and brand voice. Manage digital budgets, vendors, and freelancers as needed. Content & Campaigns Oversee creation and scheduling of on-brand social media content across major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, LinkedIn) that advances the mission of RLC while growing reach and engagement. Create and manage distribution of email content including daily newsletter, weekly Sunday reflections, and other email campaigns to increase engagement and list growth. Implement and manage marketing and sales funnels and retargeting campaigns to support lead acquisition, audience engagement, donor conversion, and sales revenue. Collaborate with Production team to ensure video and podcast content is distributed across platforms. Launch and optimize digital ad campaigns (Meta, Google, YouTube, etc.) for lead generation, content growth, SEO, fundraising, and event promotion. Work cross-functionally with development/fundraising, events, and leadership teams to align marketing efforts with organizational priorities. Analytics & Optimization Track KPIs across web, social, email, and ads; provide regular reporting and insights to VP of Marketing. Use A/B testing and data analysis to improve campaign performance. Ensure strong SEO practices and web optimization for content discoverability. Stay current on the latest features, trends, and tactics in social media, digital marketing, and the wider Catholic Church to keep content and communications relevant and timely. Please note: Some evening/weekend work required, especially related to social media management and monitoring Some overnight travel required for events and team meetings Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in a nonprofit, faith-based, or mission-driven organization. Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms, digital advertising, and analytics tools (Hubspot, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, etc.) with proven ability to turn data insights into actionable outcomes. Experience with website management, content management systems, content creation tools, and SEO best practices (WordPress, Sprout, OpusClip, ChatGPT) Experience managing social media profiles for an organization or public figure and ability to create unique and compelling content aligned to specific brand voice Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills, especially for social media platforms Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Passion for the Catholic faith and alignment with the mission of Real Life Catholic. Preferred Skills Familiarity with and respect for Catholic Church teachings and audiences. Video editing and graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) Experience with donor communications, fundraising campaigns, and donor CRM software.
