Job Description

Our client is looking to fill the role of Data Processing Assistant. The Data Processing Assistant – GA Finance supports the Geographic Area Finance team by ensuring accurate and timely entry of financial data related to donations, and events. This role is responsible for maintaining and updating donor and member financial records in the event management system and CRM system. 

• Pay rate: $21 per hour
• Salary if/when perm: $38,000 - $40,000

Responsibilities:

• Enter donation, event ticket registration, and other revenue-related information into financial systems and CRM system with accuracy and time.
• Maintain and update donor and member financial records, ensuring data integrity and consistency across platforms.
• Review checks and accompanying documentation to accurately categorize and code transactions.
• Prepare and organize electronic or physical backup for finance processing and audit purposes.
• Communicate with staff as needed to clarify or resolve discrepancies in transaction data.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• BA degree or at least one year of professional data entry or administrative experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial and constituent data.
• High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with databases or CRMs.

• Ability to work independently and as part of teams located in different geographic areas.
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage repetitive tasks with care and precision.
• Accuracy and attention to detail are imperative in this role.
