About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Security Architect to join our cloud security team. This role involves designing, implementing, and governing enterprise-class Azure security solutions to protect cloud and hybrid workloads. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Microsoft cloud security technologies including Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender suite, and Zero Trust architectures.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Design and implement secure Azure architectures aligned with enterprise security and compliance standards.
• Architect and manage Microsoft Sentinel, Defender suite (Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, O365), and Azure AD (MFA, Conditional Access, PIM).
• Define and enforce cloud security baselines, Zero Trust models, and regulatory compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews for workloads.
• Integrate Azure security with SIEM, EDR, SOC operations, and hybrid/on-premises systems.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and application teams to embed security into solutions.
• Lead incident response design, create security documentation, and mentor engineers.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity , with at least 3–5 years focused on Azure cloud security architecture.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure security services (Azure AD, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender suite, Key Vault, Azure Firewall).
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust, IAM, encryption, and hybrid cloud security .
• Hands-on experience integrating cloud security solutions with SIEM, EDR, and SOC workflows .
• Familiarity with network security concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as SC-100 (Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect), AZ-500 (Azure Security Engineer), CISSP, CCSP .
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, container security (AKS, Kubernetes), and CI/CD security integration .
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
