The Chief Marketing Officer is responsible for:
Designs and executes campaigns that create demand for Gateway products and services.
Oversees the online and social media content creation and deployment for the organization.
Oversees the operations of the sales department.
Coordinates and plans the organizations external and some internal communications.
Oversees contractors providing services for Marketing, Advertising, and Communications.
Develops competitive positioning, branding, and corporate messaging strategies.
Identifies new or underserved markets and develops targeted advertising channels, campaigns, or events and promotions.
Creates, develops and approves brochures, handouts, or other forms of marketing collateral.
Sets campaign performance standards and tracks progress against expectations.
Leads and directs work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring,
performance management, and termination.
Supervision is often provided through a team of subordinate managers and/or directors.
Collaborates with other members of the executive leadership team to align departmental strategy or direction with the overall goals of Gateway.
Develops and operates spending within the marketing budget.
Develops policies, practices and procedures that have a significant impact on Gateway.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communication, marketing, management or similar field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of professional marketing leadership experience, with a preference for experience in the area of healthcare, and especially behavioral health experience.
Ability to develop and mentor others.
Must have strong leadership skills.
Ability to drive strategic direction.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to influence others.
Project management skills.
Creativity and originality.
Compensation: $170K to $250K
Physical Requirements:
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. Work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Work Environment:
Office work environment, based in Chicago, Illinois.
Travel to sites across the country may be required as we operate as a national organization.
