Job Summary:Under the direction of the Administrator, the Business Office Manager (BOM) oversees all aspects of the facility's business office operations. This includes recruitment, training, evaluation, and retention of business office staff, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations. The BOM is expected to be proficient in the entire revenue cycle, including surgery scheduling, insurance verification, billing, coding, accounts receivable follow-up, cash management, and patient registration. Monthly financial closure and reporting must be completed promptly and in accordance with center protocols.

Define staff performance objectives and manage hiring, training, and evaluations.
Manage change effectively and support staff through transitions.
Work collaboratively with the Materials Manager to ensure accurate AP processes.
Partner with other centers and RCM teams to resolve systemic issues.
Demonstrate fiscal responsibility and achieve departmental outcomes within budget.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college/university.
Minimum 3 years of experience running a medical office or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven experience in employee management.
Strong knowledge of AP, financials, P&L, and balance sheets.
Familiarity with healthcare billing, particularly Medicare Part B claims.
Proficiency in billing documentation standards.
Experience in HR management.
Strong leadership abilities and high ethical standards.
Master's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration.
Experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) setting.
