Bluestone Real Estate is a leading property management company dedicated to providing exceptional service and enhancing the living experiences of our residents. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and appearance of our properties by performing routine maintenance tasks and addressing repair needs promptly and efficiently.

We are currently looking for a full-time Building Maintenance Position at a condominium complex located in downtown Portland, Oregon.

Onsite Building Maintenance Technician, Downtown Portland

• This position reports to a specific Homeowner Association (HOA)/Condominium community in the Portland metro area
• Perform regular inspections and repairs of common areas, facilities, equipment, and recreational areas. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning. Coordinate with contractors for major repairs or renovations
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and collaborate with management to address community concerns. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory
• Coordinate with vendors to schedule and oversee facility repairs, ensuring timely and satisfactory completion of maintenance tasks
• Perform seasonal maintenance duties
• Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining records and ordering supplies

Qualifications for Maintenance Technician Positions:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in property management maintenance
• Knowledge of one or more of the following building systems: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool/spa, mechanical systems
• Ability to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely
• Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual labor
• A valid driver’s license and active insurance. Reliable transportation
