Position Scope

Based in Westport, WA, this role involves managing the integrity and functionality of complex ammonia, HVAC, boiler, and refrigeration systems. You'll engage in specialized tasks such as maintenance and system calibration, ensuring operational effectiveness aligned with IIAR, RETA, and PSM standards.

• Operational Mastery: Conduct efficient operations and maintenance of ammonia, HVAC, and refrigeration systems with rigorous documentation practices.
• Project Collaboration: Synchronize project efforts among team members and contractors efficiently.
• Communication Prowess: Utilize well-developed verbal and written communication channels.
• Regulatory Compliance: Execute PSM frameworks to manage and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Training Commitment: Instruct and support team members on refrigeration systems, committing to ongoing personal learning.
• Travel Requirements: Ready to travel along the West Coast, extending from Alaska to Oregon as required.

Further responsibilities may be assigned to meet organizational demands.

Required Skills:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in ammonia system management, with adherence to PSM practices, or equivalent education/certifications.
• Comprehensive awareness of both the mechanical and electrical components in ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Must be eligible to work, proficient in English for clear teamwork and documentation communication, and moderately skilled in computing for data tracking.

Desirable Experience:

• Holding active certification from RETA, IIAR, or equivalent preferred.
• Additional experience in larger industrial systems will be considered an asset.

• Salary ranging from $20.08 - $27.41 per hour, with relocation assistance for the right candidate.
